Could things actually get any worse???

What a crap week it has been so far!
Beka's cat Jack had been getting progressivly worse from his kidney failure, we decided it was more humain to put him to sleep.
As evil as that cat was... secretly i liked him

(but dont tell beka that)

So on Monday Beka and i drove to the Vets. We waited in the reception for what seemed like hours. Didnt help that one family had NO controll over their children who were running about making more noise then the animals!!!
*tut*
Watching Jack being put down was one of the hardest things i've had to watch.
I had to keep telling myself that it was for the best.
i dont cry ever!!! EVER!!
And i just about managed to keep myself together.

Beka gave him a funeral in the garden.. but i couldnt watch. I dont cope well in these sorta situations. So i went up town and bought us a subway each!

SO this week has had mini hurracaines.. and the loss of a loved pet..

Here are a few pictures of Jack.... bless him

I said to beka.. Dont worry... we still have the pet fish :) xxx

WRONG!!!!
FOUND THE FUCKER FLOATING IN THE TANK LAST NIGHT DIDNT I!!!!!

Girlschool ~ Tamworth

After what seemed like ages it was finally the day!
Unfortunatly my pestering skills had failed to get Idle Silver on the bill for Rock of Ages.
We'd just played a gig at the Griff and Coten, and had one the night before at Scruffy Murphys.
Naturally my neck was a bit achey and i was about to make it worse.

I managed to convince Floseph to come with me to save me from lonleyness.
love you flo! xxx

SO.. we get to the Palace and there is some crap bands on for aaaaaaages until Fiori.
Flo showed me around town, and in the process my arse got grabbed by some 14 year old chav.
not exactly amused.. so i ignored him.

Flo and i got some chips (which she refused to put mayo on!) they were well tasty!

The Satin Dolls turned up shortly before they were to go on. I was getting worried cos i really wanted to see them play a full set.
They asked where beka was... but she was at home being poor!
They also asked if we survived Glastonbudget, hehe (only just).

They played awesomely and really gave it their all...
Flo seemed to be taken rather a lot of pictures of their bassist....
Jools had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction.. but i dont think anyone did mind. hehe

There was so, so little people there. Considering tickets had been on sale since April, there was (excluding the bands) probably 20 people there?
We so could have bought loads of people down if we played! BUT NO!
Dante Fox were good. Amazing voice! Flo and i looked a bit puzzled when this womens voice was coming out of what seemed no where when there were only men on the stage.

Girlschool went on at Midnight, and by now... there were about 10 people in the audience.
It was more like a private show...

But they played as if there were 1000 people there!
Absolutly awesome!

i tried my very best to sing along to all the words that i knew..
and headbanged in all the bits which i didnt know.
Its such an awesome thing to see them live, as they are probably THE quinessential female rock band of ALL time.
Such an Inspiration to so many bands out there.
Flo and i called out for them to play Nothing To Loose. But i dont think Jackie knew it.
Never Say Never was probably the highlight for me, as its my favourite song.
But they played the classics like Screaming Blue Murder, Yeah Right, Hit and Run , Emergency , Future Flash, Race With the Devil etc.
Amazing! Flo and i stole the set list at the end...
I WANT A COPY OF THAT YOU CHIEF!

Paramore Wolverhampton ~ 2nd September

After much fuss with my tickets not being delivered for ages the day had finally come!
thats pretty much Paramore twice in a week!
Dale came up from Stevenage all the way to Sunny Nunny.
After showing him the delights of the Paramore scrap book...(which i'm sure he was thrilled about) we pretty much got ready and got in the car.
I think it took more time to select which humorous voice we wanted for the sat nav then actually getting there!

In the end we selected Dr Evil.

Turn... Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight!

i think it was a bit of a shock for beka, as i dont think she had seen so many scene kids in her life.
We walked around trying to find some sorta pub and it was starting to rain.
then from out of no where.. something fell out of a tree, 1m infront of us and went splat! on the pavement.
Is it a bird?
is it a plane?

nope....

Turned out to be a SQUIRREL!

was absoloutly hillarious!
We found a pub and went in. Beka had some slime coloured cocktail... whilst i had a pint.
we ordered food. i went for the safe option of nothing greasy. However Dale and Beka didnt.

When we had done eating (or not so in Dale's case) we went and queued up and kinda pushed our way forward.

We elbowed our way as far forward as possible.
LostAlone were once again a pleasure to watch. They put a lot of energy and passion into their set. This Province?
well... they really went my thing and i found them rather dull in comparison. I saw them walking around near the Bar whilst paramore were on.

The came Paramore.
the Crush had got so bad there was kids passing out. I helped up one girl, she later passed out before paramore came on. We shared our water around with some girls who looked like they were going to die of heat.
By the time Paramore came on it was so mad we had to try and leave the pit half way into Misery Business!

Unfortunatly we didnt get any pictures cos the crush was so bad Dale couldnt get his camera out.
I found this on Youtube. you can see the mosh pit collapse:

After stuggling to leave and picking other kids up, including one dude who was 3 times the size of me AND had a backpack, i went to the bar, got a beer and went back in!

Paramore played a blinding set. And the look on all their faces was so good to see!
I bought myself a poster to go on my wall of obsession.

We were absolutley drenched in sweat the floor was so slippery. it was littered with plastic cups.. shoes and even an umbrella!
When we got home we watched some really crappy porn channels, cos its funny.

*childish giggle*
For some reason... Dale seemed to know all the numbers off by heart ;)

We had an ace night
