13th Feb ULTIMATE STALK!!! ~ Paramore Leicester

THE DAY HAD FINALLY CAME!!!!!

Anna had been to Londonshire for a few days...
So when i arrived at the empty band camp.. She wasnt most pleased.

Especially with the discovery of an Orange in her bed.
which just happened to be the tip of the ice berg.

So we went to Tescos to get some ales and some munch!
I went for the safe option and bought some bottles of nice Weisse Bier..
but nooooooooo.. SOMEBODY wanted some of the strongest stuff.

After a long debate whether to get the bottle of beer called "blonde" or not..

which Anna clearly wanted just for the stupid woman on the front..

we headed back to band camp.

The next min i know... its about 3am and we're very pissed!

probably should go to bed as.. its a long journey and much travelling.

I wake up at about 8:30am..

Feeling fine!
Which was rather remarkable in all honesty!!! I think the prospect of ultimate stalk was enough to kick my hang over away.

When all the faffing about was done..
we left for the sunny Nunny at around 12:30pm.
We were singing along to the Paramore Cassette i had in my car..
Trying very hard to sing in Hayley's Range but ... to be honest.. was more loud screatching!

When we got to Nunny.. it was warm, and i started to get ready. (faffing)
There was a soul crushing Cheese sandwich that was so bad it almost caused tears :(

Luckily Rebecca Anne was there to save the day! :)
Didnt take us very long to get to Leicester..
i was already starting to get really nervous and Excited about the ULTIMATE STALK! We'd waited soooo sooooo long for this!
One thing i cant get over is the fact Anna left her UBER camera of amazingess in London.

After i Parked the Katmobile we went to the venue.. and OH...MY LIFE
There were some MORALLY wrong trousers on the go!

*shudders*
anyway... as per usual.. when there are humerous people around.. and there is a camera..
Photos get taken to pass the time.

I dont even know WHY we were laughing at these three girls..
but it turns out.. they were SAFE!
What a bunch of legends.. AND not just that...
i'd met them before in London!!!

hehe

And they remembered me and Pinney..
Yes, Pinney!! they remembered you!!!

There was also a humourous Train Spotter amongst the crowd of freezing 13 year old Emos..
Some of which clearly had been there ALL Day!


After what seemed like forever.. and much piss taking..
All the Meet and Greet people got to go in a high security thing!

Having to show ID, Tickets, Confirmation E-mails... LONG

i was getting nervous by now.. so it was time for a few crazy pills ;)
Everyone was Allowed one item for Paramore to Sign...
Anna wanted to get something for Steves.. as she was gutted about the pair of us doing the ultimate stalk with out her.. So i gave her a Hallelujah Vynal i had a double of.

Me...
i had my STALK book!! The scap book i've been keeping with all the Paramore Articles there have been in magazines over hte years..
Not to mention my concert tickets!

I would only be right.. if the stalk book went full cirle and the band signed it.. creating a paradox! Anna was the brave one... she went up first

STALK!We'd only both got the idea of given Paramore a cd of our bands... even if they listened to them on not.. we didnt care!
Anna's presentation on hers was better.. considering it was Blue Peter Style Half an hour before we left Crewe!

NOW was my time..
i said.. "you're either gonna think this is kool.. or really creepy"
First off Jeremy said.. "AWESOME, can i keep it?"
Josh, "NO you had the last one!!"
So i grabbed it back and was like NOOOO ITS MIIIIIIIIIIINE hahah!
They loved it!

Anyway.. after that we watched the bands.. we got to go into the venue first and get to the front.
Conditions were very good.. Kids in Glass Houses were TERRIBLE!
REALLLY REALLLY BAD! the bassist just made me angry cos he was so crap!

22nd Jan~ The Tommys @ the M club Crewe

Well.. i wasnt intending on drinking that night...

but ..

as per usual... things got out of hand and i ended up Shit faced!

When i turned up everyone was getting ready still.
I was slightly concerned when everyone was commenting on how nice i looked..

Do i always look bad??

So we went out to a pub for a cheeky pint before the show, and the others were getting a bite to eat.

So we get to the M Club and i hand over my ticket and collect a wrist band to prove i was over 18. Everyone went back stage.. but i get my priorities right.. and head to the bar!

So i'm standing there.. by myself with some crap band playing in the background when someone shouts..

"Kat?!"

hahah! i cant go anywhere without finding someone i know or a friend! Joe made that night extra fun! I Hadnt seen him since i left college. So we catched up over some shots of Sambucca and some beers.
And before i knew it.. was bladdered.
Then as The Tommys took the stage.. i guess i wandered over to take some drunken photos..

and they aint half bad!!! considering!

But i think Dave gave me a lift back to band camp..

Then Fran had an issue trying to find her keys!

Then i have a blurry memory of standing in the kitchen.
Louis said.. there was a bunch of us just standing around with two beers in each hand..
and apparently i was beeing very lady like by belching and farting.. HORRAY for first impressions!

So i wake up the next day feeling still kinda drunk and like death..
also.. wondering why i'm in a t-shirt and boxers..
Aparently.. after i made myself a nest out of a sleeping bag..
Scott poured beer on my head as a warm up to the enevitable revenge that will happen sooner or later..

4th Feb ~ Paramore @ Birmingham

..yeh i've been really busy with band and stalking and work lately.
So i'm gonna spend my day off work catching up with my blogs.

First up would be when i kinda last minute when to Birmingham to see Paramore.

Plus gave me a change to hang out with some grooooooooooovy peoples!

I finished work and got straight in my car and drove to Tamworth Train Station. As there were no Trains from Nuneaton Running to Birmingham.
£5! to park my car there.. LIBERTIES!

I just about made it for the right train.
When i got to birmingham i sat around at the train station on my todd, as the otheres were still travelling.
And per usual when your on your own, scared, in a strange City..
What do you get??
Yes.. thats right.. the crazy 7ft black dude walking back and forth making loud noises and starring at you!

Time for some Kalms...

We walked to a Pub just round the corner from the venue.. where i had my one and only beer of the night. (driving)

Hannah purchased me the beer...
and kept trying to tempt me to the dark side..

"kat you sure you dont want another beer..??"

This is when i discovered Llovonne was a camera whore!
And just a tad drunk...

We'd already allowed the first two bands in favour of beer.

But i was really looking forward to New Found Glory.

They played a few songs i knew.. not a lot of the old stuff.

Great band though. Was really impressed with them

I ventured down as far as i could for Paramore.
Cos i remember the last time i went.. i had to leave the mosh pit about 1 min into Missery Business because it was so intence!

I think Nikki and the others took the pussy route.. and went upstairs to the balcony..
Where as some of the rest of us had crowd surfing and being knocked out fun.

Hehe i cant remember her name but one girl that was there was out cold in "For a Pessimist.."

yes.. their first song!

I didnt really get much goot shots as i was really far away.

Paramore did a lot of new stuff..

And it suprised me how many kids didnt know any of the Songs from All We Know Is Falling...

well apart from Pressure and Emergency!

They've never been shy about admiting their love for JimmyEat World..
So their cover of Sweetness went down really well!!!!!!

Probably the Highlight of my night was when they played DECOY!

Thats my favourite song!

i was singing and jumping about.. but not many people seemed to know it..

It was nice to see Hayley get out her Keyboard for songs like My Heart. It was kinda chilling...
i love the lower register of her voice.. and it filled the room.
But not as much as Josh's Scream during the end of the song!

The finished the night off with Misery Business..
Which made a change.. as all the other times i've seen them live, they've kicked off with it.

When i got outside the venue i had NO clue where anyone was..
eventually everyone found each other..
But as my last train left at 23:10.. and it was 23:00 when the show finished.. i was fucked!

Llovonne was moaning about loosing her phone in the mosh pit.. only to discover it was in her bag..

I had to catch a taxi back to Tamworth Train Station..

£33!!! LIBERTIES

but worth if for a great night out :)
